anyone know cost of 220 wire ?

HI:

Any electricians out there ?

I want to hook up an electric range, but will need abt 50' of 22 line...

Any ideas of best place to purchase ?

The cost is relative to the gauge of wire (the current it needs to carry) not the voltage. I'm going to say, it's probably close to $200 for 50' for what you need.

your electric range is probably going to need to go on a 30 amp breaker maybe 50 if its a BIG range but more than likley a 30 so you will need to over size your wire by 15% because its a full load appliance 34 amps you will need 8/3 NMB with ground a 50 footer will cost about 100 bones depending where your at

I should have looked there first...

Yes - I will be hiring an electrician to terminate the ends ... I will only be doing the grunt work of installing the cable...

I think this is "do-able"
