Picked these up on eBay for two bucks each ($3.40 with shipping.) Hoping they will work in the fermenter for actual wort temperatures. Anyone have experience with them?

i use those exact thermometers for my fish tank and snake enclosure. seem pretty accurate, although i haven't tested its accuracy with ice water. should work just fine, since the probe is waterproof.....thanks for the idea.
I had one before, but it crapped out after a couple of batches despite supposedly being waterproof.
