CPC disconnects. Can you leave them connected to the kettle valve during the boil?

Might be a tough question to answer. Everyones burner and kettle is different. You may have flame lapping up the side. Point is some have more heat coming up the outside of their kettle, some have less. May try putting a thermometer by the valve through the boil and see how hot it gets.. Then check the temps the disconnect can take.
