Long story short I did not use enough yeast from a previous batch that I had collected or something went wrong with the transfer in to the new wort. The beer had a grain bill of:
5.5# pale ale
4# Malted wheat
.5# munich

So after 2 days of no change in hydro readings or activity I tossed in a starter I had made for a stout of WLP004. Any thoughts on what the results might be? It was all I had at the time and did not have time to go to the LHBS.

Hey Welder how did this brew turn out. Iv had the same trouble, I couldn't make a starter and the Kolsh yeast I had was almost out of date but I had 2 so thought I had enough! No joy and all iv got is wlp004. I'm from Ireland so I guess it's an authentic irish wheat! How did yours turn out if you can recall. Thanks, Dan
