Thought on Marcato Marga Mulino grain mill

Anybody ever heard of this or have an idea if this is worth buying? I found it for 45 bucks used.

heard of it. have it. not worth it. too much to tinker with to make it usable for crushing grain. I bought it used also for about the same price. save the money and put it towards a proper grain mill. I ended up going with a monster mill.

I use one and although it takes a little longer I get a great crush and consistant efficiency. For the price they can't be beat.

As for your questions take a look at this 'how to modify marga mill page' It will have all the info you need and it takes about 10 minutes to mod and set the gap. Also go to Lowes etc and buy a down pipe diverter for your grain hopper. Should be a pic on the thread and easy for you to source. Mine holds pretty much a full APA grain bill.
