Just saying 'Hi' to everyone before I go off and explore this great site!

I'm a relatively new All Grain brewer, based in Staffordshire, England.

My first brews have been drinkable, but I'm on a steep learning curve and looking for more knowledge.

I have a very basic and simple set up:

Basic, but it serves it purpose.

My next project is to do something about stabalising my fermentation temp.

Anyhoo, hello to everyone :mug:

Hi,

I'm just up the road. (Well the M6)
If you need any help give me a shout. I know it can be difficult getting hold of some bits over here.

How do you heat your mash water? In the boil pot?

Hi there! A fellow Brit and you're a Mod:cool:
:D

Thanks for the offer of help - I think I need it!

Yes, I heat everything in my boiling pot and on my gas burner.

Compared to a lot of the kit that the guys in the States have, it must look very 'rustic' :D

What sort of kit do you use?

A couple of kegs.

One with an immersion heater for the HLT and one for the boil.
A cooler and manifold and an immersion chiller.

Not far off yours.
