This is what I'm brewing this week:

8.0 Maris Otter
1.0 Honey Malt
1.0 Victory Malt
1.5 DME

1.0 oz Magnum @ 60min
1.0 oz Northern Brewer @ FWH
1.0 oz Pearle @ 15 min
1.0 oz Saphir @ 5 min
1.0 Pearle Dry Hop
WLP051 Yeast

OG: 1.063
IBU's: 77.6
5.5 gallons
Eff: 75%

I got tired of my American hops and wanted to try something different. I searched German IPA, but didn't come up with anything. Will advise!

I've never had that problem with Sterling hops I've used? The DME, just cheating a little bit with my system to get the target gravity.

Sam Adam's noble pils is good and hoppy/floral. Sounds like it will be good. post back and let us know.

This beer dominates. I have gotten tired of the American hopped IPA's. This certainly is a change of pace. There is enough malt to balance out the 80+ IBU's of this beer. Taste is minty with a nice dose of tangerines. Highly recommend this one for hop lovers looking for a change of pace from the standard citrus bomb.
