Looking at upgrading my system to a 3 tier gravity set-up. I'll be ordering supplies this week (a total DIY job). Once it's set up, I'm going to do a Pecan Porter. It will be my first using yeast I harvested from my last ale. It will also be the first with whole leaf hops. I'll have a few smack-packs on-hand in case the yeast doesn't activate / isn't viable. I woul welcome advice on the use of whole leaf hops vs pellets if anyone has recommendations.

If I have time I am hoping to brew a honey amber ale recipe that I have been working on. I also need to move my barleywine to secondary on oak.

Brewing a Rye Pale Ale tomorrow all Centennial hops, gotta make a small dent in the two pounds I have.

Brewed a batch Friday and Tuesday night...Bottling right now (wednesday) and probably brewing a Centennial/Grapefruit IPA this afternoon

Ol Lefty's Brown Ale and My Blackest Friday Porter......well hopefully. 2 brews in one wekend, all be it a long weekend, needs approval from SWMBO and I forgot to submit my request in triplicate 7 days in advace.

Kidding aside, my SWMBO is usually pretty cool about me brewing these days....hopefully I can push my luck to double brews......

How about bottling..? Does that count? Look at that bottle in my hand.. does that count? Handouts? Who can resist my smile? Fill it up.. please.. then I can sing "Drinkin' from a mason jar... " (I Love This Bar- Good Toby Keith tune)
