New York growing

Hey guys- I live in upstate NY and want to start growing hops. Anyone know what strains grow well here?

grow well in the Northeast. You might look into Williamette as well.

I believe that NY was the original hop growing region in the US. I think they grew Fuggle and Cluster(?). Maybe Golding.

Chinook does nicely in NY, Fuggle and Perle seem to do well too.

This spring will be my second year with Cascade and Nugget. I also have some first year hedgerow hops that Im excited about. I got a few handfuls of hops from my first year plants that were purchased from Freshops.

I'm in northwest MA, and Cascade does great out here. Very hardy, and seems to have more success in more areas than almost any other variety.
