For the 2nd year in a row I made AHS's spiced holiday ale. Last years was wonderful, this years is definately lacking the spice flavor, it's bland. I don't know what went wrong but I need to do something with it because nobody wants to drink it. I'm thinking of steeping more of the spice in a quart of water and then dumping the tea into the keg. Does anyone have any suggestions? I also considered adding the spice to the keg sort of like dry hopping. Please help me save this keg.

You've got the right idea. Take some spices and bring them to a boil for a few minutes to kill any nasties, cool and add them to the keg. Moderation is the key though. You don't want to go from a beer that is too bland to one that is undrinkable because of heat from the ginger or something!
