So i usually do my brewing and yeast washing at my parents house with well water but today i am doing it at my house which is the municipal water. The water is very chlorinated, I know this is an issue with brewing and water chemistry but will it do anything to my yeast when it comes to washing them?

I'm not really sure about it's effect on yeast, but isn't chlorine (and other chlorinated compounds) added to water as an anti-microbial? Can you pick up some jugs of spring water?

If you sterilize your yeast washing water by boiling you will drive off the chlorine as it vaporizes at a low temp. If they use chloramine you will want to use a charcoal filter before boiling the water...or, just buy some bottled water like the others said.
