hey all, I have my first batch of cider in the fermentor. I racked it into the secondary today because the real fermentation is pretty much done (has been 19 or 20 days). At the end of racking it I poured a glass full to test it out and see how it was. Taste is alright, a little bland, but i intend on sweetening it back up when I go to bottle.
I was surprised at how thick it was though. It was almost like cough syrup. Is this normal? I assume it could be due to it being the bottom of the bucket, mixing with the yeast and whatnot, though it looked on the thick side while racking it all
any ideas?
