What are you drinking now?

Just got done cleaning up from brewing a now imperial buffalo sweat. ended up ten points higher than i was expecting yet volumes and everything else came out perfect. I bet my efficiency was high eighties at least.

Now got ribs going for my fathers birthday dinner at our place and relaxing with this.

Stopped in Cody on my way into Yellowstone. Pat O'Hara's English brown. Not bad.

Just finished doing a coupe more tastings today wile on vacation in maine. Went to Maine beer co and gritty mcduffs. The another one ipa and the lunch were really good as well as the mean old tom(I have had in bottles in va before). The brewery was beautiful

Stone Unapologetic IPA. There's some weird herbal notes in the background, but not bad.

They are selling this at Comerica. I'm buying season tix.

Bells Mars DIPA. Really tasty, if Hopslam was actually balanced it would be this. Super juicy ans fruity hops.

Wife and I got into the growler of hop tart 3.0 I love this dam beer so much

Sous vide flap steak just pulled. Cracked a free growler of left over APA. Super Power by Adventure Brewing.

Different. Has a distinct mango scent.

Just my generic English style pale ale, probably an ESB if I cared about the specific style.

Getting very sick it seems. ****ty day. Drinking and starting with this. Had action man earlier.

Mango-infused Revolution Anti-Hero. This is awesome!

Lagunitas imperial stout.

Attempted a clone of their imperial red ale today, not sure how it'll turn out yet. Hyrdrometer sample tasted good. Ended up with 72% brewhouse efficiency.

The guy was selling this or Bud Light.

After that, I wandered around and found some Schlafly Pale Ale.


Crowd was about 60% Packers fans. Happy with the score, even if it is just preseason.

Pushing the limit with this 7gal batch of ZD clone.

I knew you were a good guy fin. I made three trips to philmont myself. Twice for fun and one to do trail crew (still fun).

I wish id went more than once but we made it worth while. Did trek 31 and damn near 100 miles. Amazing trip.

Its a crooked stave kinda of night.

I was never a hiker as a kid. Two knee surgeries later proved the reason. Love a good hike now though. My scout now has now interest in Philmont, unfortunately.

By the way... Isn't that picture heresy?

Old Boys Brewhouse 2012 Rabble Rouser Barley Wine. Fantastic, not rushed and aged proper.

If you have a son that wants to go... Send him. It is an amazing experience. Pick treks in the north! Unless you try to do it... Then stay south. Lots less elevation change.

As for the heresy... I went through the mcdonalds drive through backwards in it tonight. Right hand drive.

Water and soda for a couple more hours... Then gonna break into the growlers I picked up between runs. Sun king, flat 12, fountain square, and circle city. All those breweries and haven't had a beer yet.
