Hey All,
My son and daughter bought me a home brewing setup for Christmas and have been fascinated ever since. I grew up in a part of Philadelphia which was surrounded by 3 breweries....Schmidts, Ortliebs and I can't remember the other. The smell of hops and brewing was in the air most of the time and I liked it.
I think my interest in home brewing is fueled by an olfactory awakening of sorts. The smell just takes me back to my younger days when I didn't have a care in the world.....and isn't that a nice place to go.
We are currently drinking our 4th batch and getting ready to brew #5 and #6. I just finished building the 38DD Wort Chiller in preparation for the warm summer months.
Thanks for accepting my registration and I'm looking to learn a lot from you folks here on the forum.
