Hey, all,
I'm brewing another imperial stout in a few weeks so I'll have something tasty to drink at the end of this winter (and hopefully something amazing by the start of next). This doesn't appear to be a super popular style, though, so would anyone mind giving me their thoughts?
OG: 1.104
FG: 1.025
ABV: 10.4%
IBU: 81
71 SRM
17 lb Belgian Pilsner
1.75 lb Midnight Wheat
1 lb Flaked Oats
1 lb Dark Candi Syrup (D-180) (full boil)
1 lb Chocolate Rye
2 oz Warrior Hops, 60 minutes
1 oz Hallertau, 15 minutes
1 oz Styrian Golding, 5 minutes
Pitching with Wyeast 3787, Trappist High Gravity (2 liter starter)
