I am getting ready to bottle an ESB and there is more trub in the bottom of the secondary in this batch compared to my prior efforts. I was thinking of using a muslin bag to help strain the brew as I siphon. Will this work well and is it better to use the straining bag in the secondary or at the end of the tubing in the bottling bucket?

When I bottle, I usually have a helper or two around. If you can scrape up a labor force, have one of the cronies hold the racking cane about two inches below the surface of the beer in the carboy. This is assuming you prime in the carboy, if you're using a bottling bucket, do the same thing as you move it into there.
