PID wiring question

I have a Sestos D1S-VR PID. My thermocouples are K-type, and my question is simply....do the two thermocouple wires got to terminals 3 and 4? Does it matter which wire goes where?
The wife wants this off the dining room table tonight because she's having a baby shower here Saturday. Messed up priorities if ya ask me. :)
 
3 & 4 is correct. Wire it either way, power up the PID and wrap your hand around the probe to warm it up. If it doesn't work right, reverse the wiring.
 
Thanks for the info.... I hadn't a freaking clue and the diagram isn't entirely understandable.
