I see not many people have tried the Andersen Valley Double... Pretty good! I would have another... If anyone does happen to pick one up, please post. I am interested in your opinions. I am also interested in finding recommendations for other non-lambic/sour beers.
I continued my belgian beer tour. Just tried my first Belgian Golden.. Duvel. Very nice! I really enjoyed it! A light bodied, but full flavored golden. I like this way better than a Kolsch. Kolsch is a bit mild for me...
Almost fruity, really clean flavor. Nicely balanced malt, not bitter.
Too bad this beer is a bit spendy... could be my session beer (but 8.5% is a bit high in ABV!)
I'd buy this one again!
