This will be my first beer using fruit, so I need some guidance:
8lb pale lme
1lb Crystal 80L
1.5lb Chocolate Malt
.5lb De-Bittered Black Malt
1.5oz Fuggles @ 60 mins
2 Vanilla beans (secondary)
3lb pitted/mashed cherries (secondary)
this is my first draft of the recipe, any suggestions? How much overall sweetness will the cherries add? I went heavier than normal on the chocolate malt and a little light on the crystal because I figured the cherries would add some sweetness.
