I was thinking about starting my first mead in several years today. I'm trying to decide what nutrients I may need. It's a short mead so it may not need much.

1.25 lbs honey (a combination of clover, basswood, and goldenrod)
2 bags of lapsang souchong tea
2 oz of dried juniper berries
Water to one gallon
Yeast Lavin 71B

The tea and the juniper berries should have plenty of nutrients, right? Especially for a low alcohol mead. Is there anything that this would be missing or not just not enough of? Any other suggestions are appreciated. I've been making beer for a while and have forgotten anything I may have thought I knew about mead.

Thanks!

I'd add a dose of both Fermax and Yeast Energizer (dose per the labels). That will guarantee that the must has the proper food for the yeast from the start.
