Does a decoction mash of pilsner malt drive off DMS or should a 90 min boil still be employed?

I look at a dreimaischverfahren as making the beer 4 times. I think it quite reasonable to suppose that DMS is driven off at each decoction as well as at the final boil. Given that there are other reasons for long boils. Were DMS elimination the only goal of boiling then it would be reasonable to curtail the boil in a decoction program.
