Russian Roulette

Ugh. So I bottled a holiday brew 12 days ago (1-gallon, 9 beers), and I forgot to put a fizz drop in one of the bottles. Like an idiot, I didn't mark which one.

Yesterday, I decided I would taste one soon, so I put one in the fridge. I opened it tonight and wouldn't you know it, completely flat. I sure hope my luck is good and I just happened to pull the exact bottle that was missing the fizz drop.

Tasted pretty good though so at least that's something...

You should have opened and drunk the rest of them on the chance you had a problem with bottle caps sealing or maybe had forgotten to add the fizz drop to more than one.

Or maybe not.

Maybe give em all a little shake and see which one doesn't foam up in the bottle. Pop that sucker open, drop in a carb drop, and set her aside.

Trying another one tonight. I put a second bottle in the fridge last night. Fingers crossed.
