I brewed 20 gallons of this from a modified Austin HBS extract recipe. I added a couple pounds of dark extract to make up for the lack of the full 5.5# of amber per batch at my LHBS that day.
I'm plugging it into BeerSmith2 right now so that I can try it AG in a couple weekends.
I love this beer! Actually, I love it so much, I am going to use it as a base for my soon-to-be-lifelong-quest for a flagship house dream porter.
Does Road Dog fit any kind of "official" Style?
Brown Porter (12A)?
