I had been interested in homebrewing for years (I used work for a pizza joint that delivered to Northern Brewer) but only made the plunge after I moved into a bigger apartment. So far, I've got a few extract brews under my belt (2 kits from Midwest Supplies, and an extract version of BierMuncher's Centennial Blonde), and tomorrow I'm doing my first all-grain (EdWort's Haus Pale Ale).
I can only echo the consensus on what an excellent resource this forum is. Searching is a breeze, and everyone seems genuinely interested in helping the newbs succeed in their brews.
