I just bought a half barrel of Sam Adams and i have it connected to CO2 and was wondering how long this will stay "Brewery Fresh" before the flavor profile starts to change.

Anyone have any experience with these?

The short answer: a long time.

The long answer: How long do you think the keg will actually last? Sam's is a pretty stable beer IMO. I have never had problems with it going bad, even when sitting around for a year or more (that was in bottles, they stayed fresh long past the notched date, a keg with co2 shouldn't be much different).

Depends on the type of beer in the keg. It won't go "bad" from any factor other than age if you use CO2 and keep it at fridge temps.

American Light Lager should last 3 - 6 months. Something like Sam should last a year or more.

As if you can leave 7 gallons of beer for that long. :D

Kept chilled and on gas, it will last a very long time. Months. Longer than it should take you to drink it all.
