I made my first yeast starter yesterday. I think I did everything right, except that I forgot to sterilize my Wyeast Propagator packet before emptying the contents into the starter wort (I've read in several places top sterilize the packet).
I'm sure the chances of contamination are very slim, after all, the outside of the packet really doesn't come into contact with the yeast. But...since it's not too late to start over, I thought I'd ask for your advice.
Should I pitch it or dump it?
