I recieved this grain mill for xmas from a friend
Amazon.com: LaCuisine #150 Hand Grain Mill: Electronics
I noticed that everyone on this site uses roller mills that they can set the gap on. I'm assuming (I brew extract now) that this is so you crush the grains in stead of actually grinding the husks up.
The question is, will this mill work w/o any adverse effects on my beer? I'll be steeping grains for a few months while I work on SWSBO to get a new brew kettle. I will then be going to BIAB as I save money for my wedding this summer.
Thanks!
AJ
