Have been lagering an extract plus steeping grains maibock for several weeks at 38 degrees. Over the last few weeks I swear it has gone from a traditional dark amber to a dark German lager color. Am I imagining this? I didnt think it was possible. It is such a long time period I cant be sure of the initial color and my notes didn't mention. Cheers for any insight.
