Minute Rice Potential SG

BeerSmith has flaked rice and rice syrup solids with a potential SG of 1.032, is it safe to assume that instant (minute) rice has the same potential SG? in other words, would 1lb flaked rice = 1lb minute rice in recipe substitution?

hmmm... interesting thread, but didn't find the answer anywhere in there. just a few people that used instant rice in their recipes, but no mention of the potential SG.

no sweat, i'll just try the equal parts substitution in the brew i've got coming up and see if the gravity is near where I want it to be.
