Just used the new oxygenation system today. Expected more bubbles so I gave it a minute thirty seconds and pitched the third time around yeast from the fridge. Put the fermenter into the Son of a Fermentation Chiller at 68 degrees and and one and a half hours later the bubbler was working hard. Consequently, I recommend pure oxygen for pitching.

I currently use an aquarium pump with filter and stone to aerate the wort. I have been debating whether I should buy a pure oxygen system or not. You say you see an improvement? It seems as thought you piched a yeast cake, that usually shortens lag time considerably.
