It's also rated for only 1.7 gpm at zero head, and zero gpm at 8 feet of head. So, you're probably looking at less than half a gallon per minute flow through a pretty typical recirc setup. WAY too low.

Save your money for a pump that can handle the task.
 
Agreed, the performance is pretty pitiful. With the typical head of say 4' or so, you are looking at .5 gallons/minute max.
