Hey guys,

Me and my friend just bottled 5 gallons of German Altbier. We tried a little and it tastes great. I was a little worried that it would come out too dark, but after putting some in 2 pint glasses the color was perfect. We bottled it all and it came out to exactly 50 12oz. beers. Can't wait to make the next batch. Any suggestions???

I'm also a newbie but found that flipping through recipes and adding some easy additions to fit my liking has worked out really well. Currently drinking a hoppy amber ale that I am very pleased with. I feel its informational as well as giving me an understanding of the little nuances of brewing. Play around with different things is my advice.

Now that you've bottle 50 bottles, you might be thinking cornys and a kegerator.
Best decision I ever made. :)
