Basic equipment?

Hey all,

With so many different configurations out there to get the job done can some of you experts share an absolutely newbie friendly system that would cost say $75 or less?

I'd like to give her a shot but times are kinda tight right now and I can't afford to be fumbling around with my wallet out. I definitely need more info.

Best I could do; doesn't include the bottles (you'll have to come up with those on your own, but doable) but does include the first kit. The fermenting bucket includes the lid and stopper. You'll need to add some cheesecloth for steeping the grains or add a grain bag as well. You'll also need to use bleach for a sanitizer (and rinse very, very well) or add some Star San (my preference) or other sanitizer.

There are lots of other useful devices as well (such as a hydrometer) but I can't think of any other essential. Someone else may come up with something, though. Good luck with it and welcome to HBT.
