I am Bob from Maple Shade NJ. I am right across the bridge from philadelphia.

I ordered this kit today.

I have wanted to brew since my early 20's when a friend of the family made a brown ale.I swear I remember that beer, the food and tht night like it was yesterday.

Currently in the fridge:

Yuengling
Sierra Nevada
Blue Moon
Michelob Amber Bock

With this kit, you get a red ale.
I also added a 2nd kit, which is the continental dark.

It's on its way.

Welcome to HBT Bob!
That kit looks like it will work good for you. The 48 free bottles is a nice deal. I've never seen a kit come with bottles. The one other thing you will need is a brew pot. I would get about a 20-24 quart stainless steal pot for this. They aren't too expensive.

I have a huge pot that i got on clearance at wal-mart for Crab-boils. it was $9 and is porcelin enamel. I have not used it yet, so i was hoping that it would do for now.

Got my kit!!!!!

Gonna make my batch up tomorrow.

Wow, small world.

I decided not to brew today, but read and reread instructions. I am traveling over the weekend both days, and have not had time to get to Home Depot for my wallpaper tray for sanitizing.

Maybe wednesday next week.
