cant seem to find the actual method of how to use these for homebrew. i know all i need is 1/4 tablet for 5 gallons. should i just crush up a quarter tablet and add it to my strike water while its heating up?

I think it's closer to 1/2 tablet for 5 gallons, but I may be wrong. Crush it, add it to the water, stir it well, then use it. I like to let it sit for an hour or more to give the sulfites a chance to remove themselves from the liquor.

You're referring to using it to get rid of chloramine, right?

1 tablet will work for 20 gallons.

I usually use 1/2 tab when I heat up 10 gallons for strike and sparge...
