I brewed a BB Dortmunder about 7weeks ago. I am getting a slight hint of clove in the beer. Everything else was fine, samples taken along the way had no sigh of this flavor. It isn't overpowering or making the beer undrinkable, I just don't want it to be part of my next brew. Any suggestions?

Some yeast strains add a clove flavour, what type of yeast did you use?
You might find the cloveness mellows out a bit after another month or so.

the liquid yeasts are good about that ,when the right one is used ,i had one i used and it gave a bannana clove over tone ,it was really kinda unique.
