As the conical has only a racking port, has anyone tried using a racking arm from another manufacturer?
Or with that in mind, any thoughts on whether it is really neccesary... Just hate seeing that extra gallon going to waste.

Make yourself a long dip tube out of stainless or copper and attach it through the racking port with a compression fitting. Add a couple of silicone orings to the compression fitting so you can tighten the compression nut just enough to stop it from leaking while allowing you to ratate the dip tube. Rotating the dip tube allows you to rack at any level without sucking the gop up from the bottom.

Ok, Thanks. Is the fitting you've shown in place of the current ball valve? or place the valve outside of this? Still a bit confused.
