I was given a freezer and just found out it's 45 CF. How would you go about keeping this cool for Lagering , storing carboys and bottles. FYI it does not work.

It's a sickness!
So I have been chasing this problem down with the freezer and I have come to find out the compressor is not working right and I need to replace it. About 800$$ and I really don't want to pay that much. So my ? is how do I keep the coils from freezing over on a AC unit mounted to the side of it?
