I'm in the process of doing a dry run on my new rig and I'm having issues keeping the pumps running. All of my pumps are mounted to the bottom of the vessel and they worked like a champ with cold H2O, now that the water is hot I'm having issues keeping the pump running:mad:

Any suggestions????

Boiling water creates bubbles and bubbles cause the pump to sometimes loose prime. I've found by restricting the flow on the outlet side with a ball valve allows the pump to keep going. Worth a shot for you. It's the only way I can keep my whirlpool running in the kettle.

Thanks fellas. I think the issue was I sucked the MLT dry on the previous test and it just couldn't get prime even with 10 gallons on top of it. I drained everything and ran my spray nozzle into the pump and started again. Seems ok so far.
