I brewed a lager a little while back. I've been fermenting in a chest freezer. I'm about ready to do the D-rest, but it's extremely hot in my house. I usually take the batch out of the freezer to do the d-rest at room temp, but I'm worried it's too hot. Any ideas.

Bulls-

I think raising the temp in your freezer is the best bet if its wicked hot in your house....65 degree for 48 hours should do it.

I know this is dodging the question, but are you sure it needs a diacetyl rest? In my experience most lagers don't. Not that it would hurt anything to do one anyway.
