I couldn't find quite this combination on these boards, and I have replied to a close (I think) recipe in another thread. But I wanted to get an opinion on this.
Thread I'm looking at: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f68/deception-cream-stout-141483/
A good buddy of mine wants me to brew him something close to the Youngs Double Chocolate Stout, but more creamy and with a strawberry twist. I came across the above recipe, which looks delicious and might be close to what I'm after.
Could I achieve that product by just using this recipe, and simply bump up the Chocolate Malt, Lactose, and add strawberries to the secondary? Or is this stout creamy/chocolately enough? If so, recommendations on quantities for a 5 gallon batch?
Thanks alot in advance!
