Just tasted my Dry Hopped APA and I am disapointed that it soured on me!


It tastes like rust and has a sour fragrance. I guess it got an infection. I notice a ring in the bottle after it's poured. Is that a sign of bad.

I plan on doing it again. I will do a bleaching to all my equipment first.
I don't think I will dry hop though. I'll just add 2 ouces of Cascade in the last 5 minutes next.
 
It sounds like maybe a lacto infection (sour like sour milk-ish?). Good idea on sanitizing everything well, but I think I'd throw away the plastic tubings and get new.
