I just got the patches from the Embroidery place. They came out great. Anybody that wants a few can order from my website. The site is pretty basic and I only have the ability to take money through paypal and google cart. The cost $2.50 each. That is the cost of the patch plus shipping and paypal fee. I will be shipping all patches through USPS. International people PM me and I might be able to work something out.

I am not making a profit on these. This is just something fun for all the people who helped/will help me on this great site. I have 100. There should be plenty for those who want them.

So the website

Quick question before I order: do they have an iron-on backing or are they stitch-on? Only asking because I'm not that adept at using a needle & thread...

Sorry....you will need to learn how to sew. Maybe SHMBO can help you out. Mine crochets, so I am going to ask her to do it for me.

These are the tits! Great work!

Just ordered mine... Going to affix to my Troeg's work shirt!!!

Harrisburg you say......I grew up in a tiny town called Selinsgrove just up the river.

I like your shirt. I think my work vest and a workshirt are going to get the treatment. I have two more for the shirt. My last name and the word "Brewmaster". I am grooming it to be my new lucky shirt.:rockin:

I love a tiny town up the river's brewpub called Selin's Grove. Only takes us 40 mins to get there from my home base, Appalachian Brewing Co.

Troeg's sells these for like $10 each... I lucked into getting one of the first ones with the Trogenator logo on the back and a sweet American flag on the arm. It was already stitched up with "Cargo Transporters" and "Elmore" patches, lol.

I do, of course, prefer the more cultured, "EL-MORE-AAAAAYYYYY" pronounciation for my pseudonym. :D

EDIT: Only somewhat view of the back I have...HBT patch will prob go on the right arm:

BTW, the GoogleCheckout link wouldn't work. Something wrong with the card that was sent to Google Checkout. *shrug*

FYI, that's not a military uniform, that's not a fire or police uniform, it's not a patriotic organizations uniform (Boy/Gorl Scouts)...therefore, it's illegal for to wear a flag patch on your clothing...so says the US Flag Code.

Unfortunately, it's also illegal to use flags as a background in advertisement although our elected officials do so in EVERY commercial they are in...

And for some reason the US Flag Code is not enforceable. (HUH???)

So why have it? It just doesn't make any sense.

Just thought I'd let you know...;)

That is too funny. That little pub is pretty cool. I found out last week they are from Colorado. The owner and his wife met when they both worked for New Belgium. My buddy is a baker and makes bread in a wood fired oven. He takes their spent grain and uses it to make bread for their sandwiches.

Sorry about that. I will need to dig into that tomorrow. I cannot find an obvious error. Hopefully I can get it fixed quickly.

just ordered 8 might get a 8 more here in a few if they are still up there.. Than you for doing this for us lazy people who like them but didn't want to put the effort in to making them. You sir are what HBT is all about.

You can use Steam-a-Seam. It comes in double sided sheets. all you have to do is cut them roughly an 1/8" shorter than your target shape, stick on one side on the patch peel off paper then place on target location. Iron.

You can get it at most craft stores (ie. JoAnn fabrics/Michaels) just make sure you get the permant and double stick kind.

No code is going to tell me that I can't publicly love America and let everyone know it! :D

Good facts to know though... Was totally unaware. I bought the shirt that way and I love Amerrrrrrrrica!

PM me with your email address. I think there might be an error. The largest order I have is for 4. I can look up your order by your paypal email address to see. Did you hit the update button after changing your number to 8?

We can get r done just let me know.

WoW. These are more popular then I thought. I only have 40 left of a 100.

I will change the website when they are gone.

TxBrew: PM me with your address. I will send you a few. Thanks for giving me the OK to go through with this.

Ok here is some patch porn. SHMBO sewed this one on my vest this morning.

Now its back to the garage to continue welding my new Brewstand. Then I need cut out and etch some circuit boards for my Boil Kettle control. I will check back on the orders later tonight.

OT: I am just up the road from Selinsgrove in Lewisburg... about 10 minutes and I can be at the bar at Selin's Grove! ;)

My wife got a job offer from Evangelical Hospital... That gets us farther from family though. Good to know that it's that close to Selin's Grove if she does end up accepting!

Lewisburg is a great town; we have only been here since June of '08 but have really enjoyed it. Great schools, a real estate market that kind of exists in a vacuum unaffected in most ways from national trends, great small town atmosphere with many civic and family activities... if you have a family, or planning one, a great place to be.

Homebrewing related, there is a small group of us (3-4 counting myself) that get together and they are good guys. Additionally Mifflinburg, which is about 5-10 minutes west of Lewisburg, has a GREAT homebrew shop that just opened ~6 months ago. Great owner, prices that are competitive (and cheaper on some things) than internet ordering ...

:mug:

I didn't think I could use somethign like that, but then I saw the brewery shirts and now I'm thinking that I need a dedicated work shirt just for brewing (other than my White Labs T-shirt).

Long sleeve works shirt lined with flannel for those winter brew days in the garage.

Short sleeve workshirt for those summer brew days on the back deck.

You'll need two patches....

:)
