Does anyone have one of these and if so what do you think about it? Reviews I've read seem to leave me with less of a desire to purchase one. I'd really like to be able to check my gravity without having to open the container and subjecting my beer to oxygen or an unintentional inoculation.

Check out this thread from January of this year. I get gravity and temperature reading without ever opening my fermentation chamber. Not cheap and a bit of a luxury, but I like mine.
