so i recently went whole hog, i welded up a gravity fed operation, a new HLT with a bg 14 a new boil kettle with bg 14 and the use of a friends RIMS! the bad part is i also started re-using my yeast. This seemed to work until the last few brews. it seems that one keg at least is always funky. I poured out all suspect beers, filled and let all kegs, better bottles sit with PBW in them and made fresh sanitizer to flush everything. between the heat and the need to start my pipe line all over again i am getting rather frustrated. i think if i build a Counter Flow Chiller and pre chill with my IC i can get temps down faster and maybe reduce this problem. I guess my question is, if i start washing my yeast, how can i know if it is good to pitch, and two, if anyone else run into the same frustrations?
:confused::(:confused:
