Does anyone have any experience with these new 2.5 gallon Ball Lock Kegs?

I just discovered them for the first time at Williams Brewing. Imported from China, looks like a bargin alternative to the expensive Italian ones, but I'm curious about the quality. They also have a 1.75 gallon version. Thanks for the information.
 
Is that a good price? I guess I'm used to buying used 5 gallons for about half that. It would be nice to have a smaller one for a dorm sized fridge kegerator or even for batches that run a little bigger than my 5 will hold but...
 
With the larger lid, I wonder if the standard o-ring stretches around it ok. They're only $10 more for the typical one at rebel brewer.
If someone buys one of these, post back if they're thin as hell.
