I made a 5 gallon brew of light ale last wednesday, it started bubling in the airlock withen 24 hours. I racked it into a carboy, then boiled a pale ale from another kit saturday, and put it in my primary fermenter. no bubbles at all yet in the econolock, airlock on top of my 6.5 gallon primary fermenter bucket.

Is my pale ale fermenting even though i dont see bubbles in the airlock, or is something horribly wrong with this brew?

First of all, there is probably nothing "horribly wrong". That said, more info would be helpful.
Is this the same yeast as in the light ale?
Any differences in starting temp, wort gravity, and so on.
You mentioned airlock but not if there is visible krausen. If no visible krausen after 48 hours, you could toss in another packet of yeast.
Most of all, don't panick. Most problems can be solved and beer salvaged.

what was the starting gravity?
what's the gravity now? if its a lot lower, its fermenting.

this is another situation where airlock activity can't be relied upon as a fermentation indicator.
