Anyone ever rig up a standard "D" Sankey coupler specifically for force carbing beer?
I know I can just leave the beer-out attached to the faucet to force carb... and I know I can buy a valve that I can screw onto the beer-out port to act as a cap-off. The valve for the coupler is 25 bucks though.
That said, wondering if anyone has come up with a more economical rig for force carbing sankey kegs in a dedicated way (i.e. not attached to a faucet)?
I'm thinking like a hex-nut cap or something like that??
Just curious what (if anything) others have tried.
Thanks!
