Anyone tried Maredsous Dubbel? Tried it last week at the Empire State Brewing and Music Festival. I loved this beer. Probably the best beer at the festival in IMO. I tried the Blonde too, but the Dubbel (I think the server called it Bruin) was fantastic!
 
It is the best thing that comes out of Maresous, hands down. It is a great dubbel, and I put it behind rochefort 8, but a good beer nonetheless.
 
After brewing a few batches of my own, I've decided that I need to step out of my normal taste realm (IPA's) and start looking around for styles to take a stab at. This is one of the first Belgian Ales I've tried. Wow. It's amazing.

Note to self: Do not drink this on an empty stomach. :)
