I just bottled a very high alcohol brew. It stopped fermenting but on the 2nd day the air lock blew off and I lost some beer. As I was bottling I'm afraid I didn't take this into consideration and added most of my 5oz. of corn sugar to a 4gallon batch, lost almost a gallon due to the pop off. Am I in trouble here or will I just have very carbonated beer?

have to do some calculations for pressure, but just a gut feel you will just have overcarbed beer. Bottle bombs happen when there is a lot of fermentables in the bottle, like before fermentation completes.
